Our Lemon Thyme Subarz is available in regular and gluten-free versions and is one of our most popular bars. It was the third Subarz we created, and it all started with a lemon bar. When our founder's sister suggested adding a herb to her baking, she was hesitant, but she tried it anyway. She added thyme to her lemon bars, and to her surprise, it was delicious! These bars have been described as a cross between a lemon square and a scone and are one of our softest bars. Even those who don't typically like lemon desserts love these bars, as they're not overly lemony. We zest fresh lemons and squeeze the juice out of fresh lemons for each bar, and they have a nice dusting of Demerara sugar on top.
